It is important to develop social skills, emotional intelligence, and basic motor abilities from the very early stages of your child’s educational journey.

At Study Hall Prep, through structured play, hands-on experiences and interactive activities, we help children learn basic concepts like colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.

Teachers at this level encourage exploration and imagination and imbibe life lessons in a fun and engaging way, while fostering independence and self-confidence in a nurturing environment.

Play Group Syllabus

Our Play Group syllabus focuses on helping your child settle into the school environment and develop essential skills. The year begins with orientation, teaching children to introduce themselves, greet others, and play in groups while understanding and respecting their peers. Through daily rhymes, songs, and storytelling, we will enhance verbal skills. Similarly, through sharing and turn-taking activities, we will promote social interaction for healthy social and emotional development.

We will encourage the development of self-care habits such as washing hands and tidying up. We will cultivate our young explorers’ gross and fine motor skills through activities that involve walking in line, balancing, hand-eye coordination, and sensory play (with sand, water, clay, etc). Crafting, colouring, and cognitive development exercises, such as concentration-building games and group discussions, will be carried out to support creativity and thinking.

Role-playing activities will help build vocabulary and reinforce the concepts of good manners, cleanliness, hygiene, and empathy. They will also help our little learners understand the value of kindness and respect towards others.

By the end of the year, your child will have developed essential life skills, increased confidence, and a strong foundation for learning.
